I wasn’t very impressed with the location when I first came back in 2017, but it has steadily improved year by year. By this I mean the employees seem more professional and the ambiance is more soothing. I’m also impressed that they have no trouble keeping a PLO game afloat. I check Bravo everyday and there is usually a 1-2 and a 5-5 game. Saturday they also had a Big O game, that variant of Omaha where you are dealt 5 cards. I wound up at $1-2 NL as the only open seat and it wasn’t a tough game. You can usually tell by the stacks and the ages who is a gambler and who is a grinder and play accordingly. Saturday had a high hand bonus of $500 per half hour and the place was packed.
Despite the crowds the cocktail waitresses were making the rounds swiftly and the full price drinks do not seem to dissuade anyone from lubricating. The food smelled good but I did not partake.
This is 20 or minutes closer to Orlando than the Daytona dog track and it’s a better experience.
