Ugliest room on the Strip, hands down, with all due respect to Circus Circus who is a distant 2nd. Extremely noisy, crowded, and loud. Can't hear verbal declarations of action (a bad) or people puking in the back (a good).
The play here at the No Limit games could easily be the worst in Vegas. No need to bluff here, just bet with the best hand and be prepared to win nice pots. If you can hold your nose and stomach regarding everything else putrid about this room, you will likely be rewarded by your lack of taste and sensitivity. Level 2 play often doesn't work here because you can't get inside the head of an opponent who is not thinking or is to drunk to process relevant poker information.
Worst dealers on the Strip. Saw many mistakes and had poor control of table. Drunk LAG was swearing often, passing chips across the table to woman he was hitting on, once looked at mucked winning hand which did not go to showdown and dealer did not even see, made mistakes on side pots, etc.
Not really sure, but getting free alcohol here is not a problem so I will rate this average.
They have a really tough job here given the noise and general drunkenness of the clientele. They have certainly not hired a great staff, but that may be because it is possible that this is one of Harrah's entry level / dealer training rooms.
You can't swipe in at these low rent tables, but they will take you cards and give you $1 per hour on your Harrah's cards. With HET being a very good reward program, that saves this grade. However, they keep your card while you play and it takes several minutes to check out (they run your cards to the back).
