I like the set up of this poker room, it reminds me of a smaller version of the MGM poker room. Very comfortable chairs. Plenty of space. Donuts served for the tournament. As others have said, the piano bar guy is terrible...he's bad enough that he was good for a few laughs, though.
Fairly simple to find the locals and realize the type of plays that they are going to be making. 70-80% soft/weak players at the tournament...the kind that stare you down when they're weak and are willing to call off half their 14k stack with A-10 off. They will also suck out on on your AK suited when they hit a 10 high straight on the river and knock you out of the tourney. At $1/$2 NL I may have gotten lucky running into 3 young lawyer friends, one of whom was the most LAG player I've ever seen...He let me felt him and single handedly sent me +$600.
Dealers were friendly and chatted it up with the locals. Jennifer was great in the tournament and is worth the trip to PH...beautiful, entertaining, and cheerful.
They may be a little bit past their prime, but they did remember to bring me another Heineken when I was away from my seat while they were taking orders...that's the key to my heart.
Not particularly friendly, but they'll take your money, direct you to a seat, and get your chips.
