The casinos with the big high roller rooms aren't the only ones on the Strip that know how do poker right. Had a blast the other night at Planet Hollywood and would have never guessed I would.
Competition is a good enough mix you'll be able to make some money. PH is more of a touristy place so you catch a lot of newbies in there playing. Plus they tend to do a fair amount of drinking so that's a good thing!
Can't say enough about the staff overall. Since it is a fair amount of new players, the floor has to make a fair amount of rulings but they always do a great job. Dealers overall are great as well though they could weed one or two out. The room is very nice too so they have the structure of things pretty well set up. Some of the servers were kinda eh but for the most part they get the job done.
Comps are ok - fairly standard.
But it's a fun fun place to play. A good place to hang out and if you stay patient you'll put some money in your pocket!
