Very nice poker room located near strip entrance & right by mall. Yeah its not near valet or parking but for people staying at PH or on the strip its a short walk. The tables are very nice, the felt seems a bit rougher then normal but it works perfectly when tossing in your chips. One bad thing is the nightly karaoke that goes in around the corner from the room but I think they have plans to move the karaoke to another location. I stayed at PH and was VERY impressed with the hotel/poker room. If your looking for a fun on-strip hotel that is surprisingly affordable check out PH.
Most of the players there were tourist and/or staying at PH. It seems most of them played poker regularly wherever they came from. I play 1 tourney and about 5 hours or 1-2NL and maybe 2 hours of 2-4 limit. A couple of drunks in the 2-4 limit but the 1-2NL seemed pretty standard. Overall I saw a ~350 profit in the PH room.
Dealers were very friendly and didn't see any misdeals or mistakes in my short time there.
Those fishnet stockings are just plain HOT. I went to almost every hotel on the strip in my 3 days there and I think the PH girls had the best outfits. Pretty fast drink service, no premium booze like Wynn/Bellagio but good nonetheless.
The manager seemed a bit busy and frantic during peak hours but I think a computerized board would help out a bit. He was constantly asking for open seats and writing and stratching names on and off the list. Very nice guys, just seemed like a needed a bit of help.
They comp by paper, and have no real way of tracking any of it. Basically you have go introduce yourself to the manager, make it known when you leave and/if when you come back. I received a free meal at Earl of Sandwich which I plan on using when I return.
