The atmosphere was great. I am a first time visitor/player and this was one room I felt comfortable in. The tables were very nice, decent room and a fun atmosphere all the way from the dealers to the players.
Like I said, this was my first experience with the poker scene in vegas and I entered 3 tourneys and cashed in 2. Then on my last day I decided to play some 1/2 NL and made over $360 in just 3 hrs (I thought not too bad since I was averaging a loss of about $40/hr when I was playing the slots).
The dealers here are great. They make everyone feel welcome, whether you are a newbie or veteran player. Every dealer that I had kept the games going smoothly, and explained rules to any that needed them. The only thing that I didn't like that much was the fact that their dealers were allowed to play in the poker room's tourneys and cash games when not working.
The waitresses in this casino are very good looking, young and old. Service was great in the poker room, not so great around the slots. Drinks were quite good and the waitresses were more than willing to make suggestions when I wanted to try something different than my regular rye and coke. The only irregularity I found was that some waitresses would serve drinks with straws and some wouldn't - I guess they have a 'No Straws at the Tables' rule, like I said this was my first time playing poker so maybe that rule is everywhere, I dunno.
