Poker has evolved and Poker Palace is the result! Newly designed Poker room with latest amenities. Valet parking in the front seems to be running well. Lots of smokers hanging around front though so be careful when pulling in!
The Cash games are upstairs and the tournaments downstairs. The decor is modern and upscale and captures the essence of an upscale hotel like The Aria. There is a high roller Cash room, mid-stakes separate room and regular tables. The tourney tables are big and chairs are very comfy, chip-set is clean and clear, tables are well lit and tournament room has more of a casino feel - warm lighting, ceilings spot lighting, this is not a giant , noisy harshly LED lit arena. Tourney tables didn't have auto-shufflers yet and could use more drink tables, I am sure these things will get dealt with in time,
I was there opening day so there were kinks in the tourney clocks and service was slow but that's expected on opening day , and the place was filled with people. I think the outlook is bright and I had a tour of the restaurant and it looks to be excellent. They have a modern wood fired stove for pizza cooking and I know that pizza coming out of those stoves can be very very good so looking forward to trying that next time. My buddy had a grilled burger and said it was excellent!
