Making a deposit on WSOP.com isn't as easy as putting cash at the cage like the other Nevada sites. With WSOP.com you can attach your bank account or use a credit card. I chose to deposit using a prepaid card with no fees.
Since opening my account I have moved. I was able to make a deposit using the prepaid credit card and was given the option to change my address to deposit.
I was able to win some money and decided to cash out my original buy-in via the cashier. I then found myself confused and frustrated. I wasn't able to cashout to my bank account because it hasn't been verified by WSOP.com so I sent the bank information as requested in the cashier.
I received an email from support saying that it would take time to verify the information for my bank and I could cancel that deposit and request a check be sent to my address.
I cancelled the cashout and found the spot to request a check. To my surprise when I opened the withdrawal cashier that my address wasn't the one I updated when I made my deposit but the address I had when I created the account. The software warned that I couldn't change my address in the cashier, which I did to make the deposit but was being denied to make a withdrawal. After an email and chat support I was told I had to again send in my information to change my address.
I've sent in the requested documents and almost 12 hours later still haven't gotten it verified.
With only 18 players registered in the "$1,000 welcome week freeroll" I think the withdrawal process and deposit process are horrilbe at WSOP.com compared to the other 2 legal sites in Nevada which both have cage deposit and withdrawals.
