I thought a joint WSOP/Ceasars site wouldn't be sketchy...

I've been playing on WSOP.com for about 6 months now. I'm a very experienced player both online and live, and did well as a professional for years when there was real online poker and was in easy driving distance of the Taj (RIP) and Borgata. Sometimes it seems like you're playing on two different sites. You get a few days to a week of it seeming legit, and then a few days to a week seeming like it's full of bots and using rake padding software like some of the shady sites back during the boom. I kept track for a week when ridiculous things were happening. Just at the tables I sat at or watched, there was over a 75% percent chance of hitting a two- or three-outer on the turn or the river if two players were all in, numerous instances of three people being dealt AA, KK, and QQ in the same hand at 6 handed tables, or 3 people all flopping two pair, etc., etc. There will be players who call you down with nothing, and miraculous catch the one or one of two cards in the deck that takes it for them (and no chat, so can't even do a bot check to see if you get a response). I sent them an email asking if any of the states they operate in audit their software, and if so, where the state licensing agency publishes findings. I got kind of an odd reply, so just decided to withdraw my whole bankroll. I had made numerous withdrawals previously and it was always ready for me at the cage at Caesars in 24-48 hours. Suddenly this time, when I went to pull it all out (had withdrawn close to that amount previously, but always left some in), they needed me to verify the bank cards I'd been using the entire time before they would give me my money. No problems at all charging them for deposits! No deposits were ever declined. Plus, I requested the in person cash pick-up at the cage. I have to show my ID while they are literally looking at me. I'm giving them a 2 because I called after I uploaded the documentation they requested, and got a slightly grumpy sounding, but very helpful rep who pulled the uploads attached them to my account, and pushed the withdrawl through. I'm pretty much done there. Too risky, No real way to report collusion when you see it, and that happens pretty often too. It's pretty sad that a site with WSOPs name and Caesars name on it is shadier than like Betonline. I'm reserving this site for cheap tourneys when I'm really bored and don't feel like driving anywhere.

Sketchy site

I would recommend against playing here. I'm usually not one to claim a site is rigged but I've seen some truly absurd... Read More
