beautiful room with a good vibe. the area i was in had very little space between tables so getting up at any point was more then a hassle.
no player stood out competition wise. a couple tourists who really didn't have a great idea at what was going on, a couple decent players who were very tight, and one jackass scandanavian who gave each player a poker lesson following every hand.
speed wise these were the best dealers i had visiting 4 poker rooms. very effecient, no misdeals or any issues. the only reason i wouldn't give a 5 is most of the dealers i had didn't seem to want to be there, and one dealer, i felt, did the most inappropriate thing i've seen. the river card puts a k high straight on the board and the 2 players check heads up. the first player flips over k10 for 2 pair and the next guy, who didn't really know how to play all too well, flips his cards over and shows a lower 2 pair. the cards sit for say 10 seconds while the dealer says nothing, this was the only time during the night when 2 hands were shown at the end and weren't taken by the dealer and put over the 5 card board pushing up the winning cards and awarding the pot. instead he said nothing and eventually with a confused look on his face why nothing was happening, the player with worse 2 pair mucked his hand and what should of been a chopped pot was scooped.
great cocktails, drinking free patron margaritas is never a bad thing. waitresses weren't really attractive, but for as busy as it was i never sat with an empty drink for more then a few minutes. just make sure everytime you have an oppertunity to order a drink you do.
walked up and asked about a stud game listed on their board and it wasn't going, then asked for 4-8 omaha h/l which he put me on a list for. was seated about 15 minutes later, which for 10pm on a Sat. I was really happy with. As the player who's seat i'm taking is leaving the guy seating me tells me to just buy this guy's chips and leaves. I ask for 160 from him, which i felt ackward about, and he says @#$% give me 100. sit down and i'm only dealt 2 cards, so i didn't even get into the game i want. I understand bellagio caters to a higher limit crowd, but if you're not going to treat your lower limit customers with a little respect don't offer the limits.
i didn't notice a bad beat jackpot or ask about comps
