It may be poker Mecca, but it feels like you are playing poker in the back seat of a VW. Smallest tables I have ever seen. I got to see the big players, since I am now a local who cares, for all the tourists, stop by on a weekend night see the big boys, then play at the MGM much better room. The funniest part was when Joe Awada got paged like 15 times in a row, I didn't see him in there, plus who in the world still pages people of the loud speaker, the man must have a cell phone.
Very average players in the 4/8 ring game, moved up to 8/16 and that is pretty good game. They need a kill button, like at MGM in the 4/8 game. All types a players, most of whom think they are much better than they actually are.
Overall good dealers, but still a couple no talkers. Dealers who talk with the players get tipped a lot more, can't believe they all don't try to make some conversation.
Played for 5 hours, saw the waitress 4 times.
Need a better list management system. They must have paid a fortune for the new Leroy Neiman painting of the big game, should have spent the money on some room upgrades.
15 comp to snack bar for 4 hours, hot dog costs 10 bucks..ouch
