The room gives off an odor of arrogance as many players that play here think they are the best player on the planet. The room in gorgeous and well designed. If you can ignore the egos, the room is great!
Wannabes or not, this room hosts some tough players. They are tricky and deceptive with their play.
Most have the skills, but not the personalities. Dealers fit the room atmosphere.
Too few waitresses for the amount of players. Service is good, but not frequent enough.
The low-limit host (Dave) is terrible. He has the memory of a squirrel and the social skills of a child. I once played everyday for two straight weeks and despite have the same first name as him, he never once remembered my name when I signed in OR when he called me for my seat. He lets favortism overtake the player list. I once confronted him on this and he just stared at me as if he had no idea what I was talking about. The tournament staff is great if you get Alan or Jack. Other than that, you're not missing much.
It takes twisting their arm to get a comp out of them. The comps are a generous $15, but if they'd just lower it to $10 and give them out a bit more frequently, the players would likely appreciate this.
