I last played at the Bellagio in April and May of 2006, and was very disappointed with the room. While the "decorations" were great, the felt was filthy. Since then, they seem to have upgraded the chairs, and just installed new felt last week, which kept it from a 2 rating. However, my biggest complaint is the fact that there are no cupholders. For being the best room in town (allegedly,) get some cupholders either built into the rail or slid into the rail. At least some tables, because I had to put my finished drinks on the floor.
OK, I played 4-8 last night, and the players were terrible. I loved it! However, I'm sure that as you move up in limits, the competition gets much, much stiffer.
Technically, they were outstanding. Not one major error, only a couple very small ones (forgetting an all-in player who didn't have a shot, and almost forgetting two cards a player didn't return.) The biggest problem I had was that there were 2 players on the table that were frequently acting out of turn, and no dealer did anything.
No glaring problems, no glowing compliments.
In the past trips, I had problems with list management there, but not this last visit. Felt somewhat ignored, because I am a low-limit player.
No bad beat jackpot or high hand, which is fine because I'd rather have my $1 from each pot. However, no other comps because I didn't play long enough. No bad beat or high hand gave it a 2 instead of a 1.
