Pathetic!

As the long-time "King" of Atlantic City poker, it is depressing to see what has become of the Borgata poker room. I arrived at the Borgata just before 7:00PM on Wednesday. I prefer to play tournaments, but since there are no tournaments since Covid-19, I registered to play
1-3 NL. As there were only 3 names ahead of me on the list, I walked over to the cage to purchase my chips. I was shocked that despite the quiet and lack of crowd in the room, there were 12 people on line to either cash in, or buy chips. The wait was close to 15 minutes, and when I finally got to the window, realized that there was only one window open, and the individual was very slow moving and seemed disinterested in doing his job.
My experience while playing was underwhelming. Players were repeatedly betting out of turn, exposing cards, talking on the phone while playing, speaking foreign languages to each other while in hands, all in violation of casino rules. At no time, did any dealer or floor person make any effort to enforce rules or "clean up the action". By 10:45 PM, I had enough, and went to the cage to cash my chips. I was shocked to see that there was no one in the cage, as the cashier cage was apparently closed around 9:30PM. If I wanted to cash my chips, I was told I had to go to the main casino cage. At the Borgata, the main casino cage is on the opposite side of what is a very large casino. I have some health issues which preclude my walking that far. Nobody gave a @#$%! I suppose I will return sometime in the future to cash my chips in the poker room, but that will be the last time I set foot in the Borgata poker room!
