This room is very comfortable with lots of space between tables and great seats. The decor is modest modest compared to the rest of the casino, which is ok. I liked the more classic look of it.There are plenty of signs to get you there. The room is in a good location near the sports betting but off in its own world away from the main casino. That was great feature away from all the casino noise, but cloe enough for good walk by traffic I would love to rate them a 5 here but their plasma waiting list is hard to read and the dealer calling "seat open" endlessly gets annoying real fast. I was at MGM poker room the day before and the technology there was awesome. It was busy here and the dealers still calling 3 times to fill a seat and then another seat would open as soon as a player arrived. I did like the that the tournament room was adjacent to the main room. If this poker room had the waiting lists and seating system that MGM had, this room would be the best poker room in Vegas
I played 3-6 and 6-12 and the players were a good mix of skill levels. They were not quite Califoria wild or the old style(too tight)Vegas games of a couple years ago. I wish thay had an Omaha game though, That was only thing I liked at the Wynn poker room was the 10-20 Omaha\8
The dealers were friendly, efficient and had great customer service skills. They seemed to enjoy working here. Good hiring policies.
The beverage servers like the dealers had great customer service and delivered fast. They did not come around often enough and there was no paging system. Again spoiled by going to MGM first.
Lots of floor staff running around trying to seat players. I couldn't rate the supervisors customer skills as for 4 hours of playing we had no dealer errors. (Thanks to great dealers) The girl attending the list was a bit rude and seemed overwelmed. I am hoping she was new and it was too busy. I like when the floor staff is calm and can talk to players instead of just looking for empty seats. The lists were long with names, but it seemed like they were working hard, but not working smart.
Not positive what comp's were but heard a $1 an hour. They will clock in a players card at the sign-up board. I assume you have to check out when you leave or you wont get any credit. Again this area hurts them, at MGM people were checking in their cards at the table and if some got up the dealer would check them out and the floor knew a seat was open and filled it without a dealer yelling. Also supervisors could check to see if a player has been gone from a table too long. I'll write more in my MGM review
