Friday Afternoon in Caesar's New Poker Room

I decided to check out Caesar's New Poker Room yesterday afternoon November 14, 2014. So, here's a short review of the 75 minutes I was there. I arrived at 4:00 pm in the afternoon, stopped at the brush desk to get on the list for a $1-2 NL cash game. The gent at the desk could't have been more friendly, professional and immediately helpful. I noticed there were only 3 on the waiting list at that time, so as I make 4 on the wait list I expected to wait a bit. 5 guys came up right after me, and a new table was opened and we were seated within less than a minute. (Literally within 60 seconds!) How's THAT for service when a table needs to be opened and players seated? (Yeah, I know I'm preaching to the choir here) The room is a bit noisy from the restaurant/bar/club next door. (where I had some difficulty hearing the dealer and players) That's the ONLY reason they're not getting 5 stars from me. But, in fairness that could have been my seat position (my back faced the left side of the room where the racket was coming from). Our dealer (Jerry?) kept up a friendly entertaining banter which made for a thoroughly entertaining game, and kept everyone smiling and wanting to play. I unfortunately caught nothing but rags for 75 minutes and was just paying the blinds. Hey, sometimes it's just not your day. But, all in all they've got a great little room, great staff, and go out of their way to make you not just want to play there, but to enjoy playing there. I'd recommend Caesar's Poker Room without reservation.
Competition: 2 Stars as I only caught nothing but rags and just observed the competition.
