Not bad.....

Overall the room is good, with a few flaws. Caesar's room is off the beaten path from the rest of the casino, which as pointed out already, may limit the amount of newcomers who decide to sit down and play. The room itself is very large, and felt to me like a banquet area with poker tables added. There was plenty of room for walking between tables, and a fairly large high limit area that was nearly empty. I'm a fan of the 3/6 6/12 10/20 leveling of games rather than the 4/8 8/16 15/30 that Bellagio and Wynn use for a few reasons. First off, new players with a small poker bankroll, or even none at all can play 3/6 with one rack of dollar chips, while the same buy in at 4/8 would disappear quicker hence discouraging the player from rebuying or taking another shot. What a difference a dollar makes.

The competition was average at 6/12 limit. One woman hit literally 4-5 sets in less than an hour, the most insane run I've ever seen. Though she did end up catching lots of cards, her chip stack quickly diminished as she called any number of bets preflop usually without looking at her cards. The rest of the table was your typical locals, semi-tight/tight middle to older age men, checking and calling the second nuts and only raising AA preflop.

The dealers were very good. I recognized some from other rooms, as they seemed to have hired competent experienced staff.

Drinks came slow, though it was the first day so this could have been for a number of logistical reasons. Nonetheless, the women were older and not particularly good looking. On par with the rest of Caesar's cocktail staff if you've ever been in the main casino before.

Management was very courteous, again I recognized some floor personel from Bellagio, etc. that made the move over. The electronic list was run well, though it would have been nice to see the electronic button system that MGM has popularized and other rooms have been slowly adopting.

Dollar an hour on the connection card, not sure though if there is a daily/weekly limit. No sign up capabilities in the poker room if you're not a member, meaning a long trek and wait in line on the casino floor.
