Nice size room. Quiet (no slot machine noise) and no smoke. Waste of space unfortunately. Lots of tables but nobody to play on them. See management below to understand why.
Not enough people there to even rate this.
Some good some bad. You can tell there is a high turnover rate here. Almost every time I come back (twice a year), there are mostly new faces mixed in with some old faces. The new ones are little rough around edges, but old ones are seasoned and make few mistakes.
Lot of attitude here. Slow service. AND QUALITY OF DRINKS ARE WORST IN TOWN. It has long been known that the director of poker made the decision to serve the cheapest alcohol possible to save money (and this was one of the main reasons most locals left and never looked back - hence a lot of tables and no customers)
I wish I could rate this category -5. This room was poised to be the best in town 3 years ago. New director came in and made awful decisions that led to a room that can average 1-3 cash games during the day. It seems he has a napoleon complex. Even though he has never played, dealt, or supervised poker in his life he has never listened to our friendly advice (mine as well as many of my local poker friends). I have heard also that he does not listen to experienced people in the room either (dealers and floor).
I hope that upper management opens their eyes eventually. Without a serious change in room management, this room will never be busy.
HORRIBLE DECISIONS:
$5 rake + $1 jackpot
cheap alcohol
high juice (tournaments)
$1 hour. No complaints, just average.
