Over the 15 years I have played poker at Horseshoe Southern Indiana the quantity of players have steadily decreased. Yesterday they had 13 players in there Fri noon tournament. Last week there were 11. Today was the last straw!
The Sat tournaments usually had 50 ir so players. Today they had a few less but it was still worth my time. I got knocked out during the third level and decided to rebuy. There were three full tables and 3 people on the waiting list and more still coming in. One would be seated and another would show up. In the past, they would take people from full tables to open up a new one but no they weren't going to do that! I waited for over a level ( 20 plus minutes) and still no new table so I decided to play cash. I asked for money money back but no the supervisor wasn't there so I waited some more after about 20 more minutes I got the buy in back. They didn't open a new table until over 30 minutes later. The blinds went from 150 / 300 with no ante to 400/ 800 with 100 ante from the time of my knockout til they opened the new table from 50 bigs to 17. THAT WILL BE THE LAST TIME I SET FOOT IN THAT PLACE. They proved to me that they have no idea what they are doing!
