This is definately the nicest room I visited. I played @ Binions, Excaliber, and MGM - but looked at many other Rooms including the Wynn which is probably the 2nd best room i saw. Clean and smaoke free, very pleasant atmosphere and people.
I dont have alot to go on as far as how play is as this was my very first time to Vegas since College (18 years ago). I play home games and a little online, and i would say the play is average. Played 2/4 and 3/6 and has a great time - Lost a little overall, but hey - i was there to have fun, not make money. I'd say there was a fair amount 20somethings here...tossing the $ around was certainly not hard for them. At the 3/6 table i played on...the average pot was well over $70 by the river. 2/4 had it all, Calling stations, Aggresive, Passive - everything.
I have ZERO complaints about the dealers. They were all top notch, friendly, and not afraid to put the table jocks in thier spot! This was a very nice thing to see. I agree Gina is so dang fast, I litteraly coulnt keep up! They are worth a $2 toke when you drag a big pot. One of the gals was from Brooklyn and she aint afraid to call you an idiot if you one. She was worth comic relief.
I was there for Tues and Wed, and never waited more than 10 minutes for drink service. Yes i Drank, and yes it was fun - thats probably why I lost.
Never had to interact with Management except that "Da boss" came over one time and told us all we were having too much playing poker...our table played from Midnight till 9am and never lost a player. It was like we were all good friends and yet we came from all parts of the world.
Hey - anytime I can get $1 per hour or play is a good thing - you can use anywhere in the Casino for food - i cashed in twice on the buffets...which i felt were better than average.
