The MGM poker room is one of the best setups I have ever seen. The large monitors with the wait lists are ingenious, as are the monitors that are sprinkled around the casinos. The tables are nicely spaced and it is easy to keep them filled.
I played in a real magoo 4/8 game. There were several good players in the game, and there were often multiple raises before the flop. This led to really large stacks around the table. It was a fun but unusual game.
I played for 7 hours, so I saw a lot of dealers. With the exception of one dealer, all of them were very competent and professional.
The servers were very hot and it never took longer than 2-3 minutes to get a drink, even at 4AM.
Spectacular and well run room.
Didn't take advantage, but players card seems like a good deal.
