I've always enjoyed the atmosphere at MGM. Its always been comfortable to me. The only thing I'd want changed would be to have adjustable chairs, however the chairs they currently have are comfortable in my opinion.
MGM always has some of the softest competition in 1/2 NL. If you happen to end up on a tight table, just switch to one of the 8-10 other tables that are going. You're bound to find a good table really fast.
Most of the dealers are mechanically sound and some are very friendly. There were a few that didn't seem happy to be there and there were others that stood out and ran the game well.
Most of the time, the cocktail waitresses were really fast with the exception of during the peak hours on Friday and Saturday nights.
Never had to get a ruling from management, but the wait list at MGM is one of the best run in town. As soon as a seat opens up, its being filled.
No jackpot drop which means no HHJ, BBJ, or any other promotions. Standard $1/hr comps with the MGM players card.
