We were in Vegas all of last week Sunday through Friday morning. Played three total tournaments here. First time I had ever played at MGM at all, let alone since the room had been moved. Pristine tables and beautiful chips. Very comfortable chairs. Well run structure and a great mix of players. I can't recall a single player that could be classified as a donk.
Competition: Excellent. A lot of great players and great play that helped me improve my own game.
P&C: mLife points added to account. I only played tournaments, but you used to not get anything for playing them.
Dealers: Not all of them were the friendliest, but they know what they are doing and keep the game moving.
F&D: The one slight knock. Took a while to get my Shocktops until the last night when the Croatian girl was working. I don't know if the bar is further away than say Mandalay Bay or Excalibur (Luxor's is right behind the poker room).
Management: Very friendly. But some of the gents scared me. They look like some hold overs from Old Vegas. The kind of guys that will give you the choice of the money or the hammer. I made a note to myself to not screw around there.
Overall a great time and I took first in the Thursday night 7:05pm tournament to close our trip out. We're discussing staying at the hotel next year because of our positive experience.
