I thought the "vibe" was exciting. I loved the music coming from the bar and I thought the room was well lit and airy. The cocktail service was quick and the dealers were pretty efficient and able to set things straight if there was an issue. The only thing that bothered me was the MARBLE near the end of the table. I like to have my cards right in front of me ... not 6 or so inches away from me.
I have been playing low stakes poker now for 9 month ( 2-4 and 3-6 ). I am no expert , but I am pretty good as I have been reading up on information and play 1-2 times a month at the local gambling establishment in my area. I found the competition pretty easy. Some of the players didn't know the rankings of hands as some guy and I were heads up to the river and he had a set of KINGS and I had a FLUSH. The sad part was that he really didn't understand that a FLUSH was higher than 3 of a kind. There was another incident where I had gotten a STRAIGHT and some kid had 2 pair and thought that he was the winner. Momma needed a new pair of shoes at the beginning of the game and was able to roll out of there 4 hours later with the cash to get 4 pairs of shoes!!!
competent and able to set things straight if there was an issue !! I wish they would have been a little more friendly though.
quick and efficient ... and with a smile on their faces :)
I was seated pretty quick and the person I dealt with was friendly.
I guess the dollar an hour is average with the rest of the casino establishments. I would like to see high hand jackpots like other casinos in the area.
