Big open room with a lot of activity. You hear music from the nearby club. The tables are average quality.
The competition is average to easy. Don't play at MGM (low limit) if you can't handle a few bad beats. Some players will chase to the river to hit their inside straight or flush. Do yo like to play with some bad players who chase? If so, MGM is the place for you otherwise you have your local spots like Green Valley Ranch, South Point, ect.
Average to good. I did see a couple of minor mistakes and they are afraid to control the table (when players swear, pull their cards off the table, show other players their cards)
Honestly, one of the worst in Vegas. I placed an order, the cocktail waitress gave my beer to someone else. She came over to me and was offened that I even asked about my order. She never said sorry, but suggested that I go to an outside bar and buy my beer is I couldn't wait for the next drop off. It was unreal. We had two drink orders in 4 hours. DON'T GO TO MGM if you want to have a few drinks and play poker.
Ther are really busy, but somewhat friendly. The software system allows for smooth, fast entry into games.
$1/hours, higher rake and no high hands/bad beats.
