Room was clean and well taken care of considering the amount of players.
When you can get someone to put $400+ in a pot pre-flop as a 4 to 1 dog (AA vs JJ), it's tough to call the competition tough. The mix was about 50/50 for good and not-so good. I think the competition has got tougher here compared to the last few years. There were some very good Europeans racking up consistent wins. I took a beating unfortunately but the majority of time got all the money in when WAY ahead. Variance had definitely set in during this trip.
Played over a five day period averaging about 7-10 hours per day - saw very few mistakes. Big shout out(s) to Mr. Fox, Amanda (Brit Dealer), Bryan (from CT), Vince (pure PRO), Frank (day dealer), and ____ (can't remember his name - but his son is a US Marine!). Almost forgot Chino - keep kicking their a$$ at NL poker when you are off - should have gone to Spearmint Rhino with you.
Only had one issue when there was a SNAFU with the waitress schedule. My favorites - Cheryl, Chase, E (works graveyard) from Ethiopia, Susan, and the little Biker chick (forgot her name). Chase and Cheryl are super nice ladies.
Gary Boyd and his crew are phenomenal. All Management in this room is way above average.
Buck an hour (average) and $40 off your room if staying at MGM(some limitations). Not bad overall.
