Very large and modern room. Tables/chairs are nice, chips are Paulson and nice to feel and look at. It's open to the rest of the casino, but they have a no-smoking within 5 feet of rail rule (which helps). There is ALWAYS a game going here, mostly 1/2 NL, but a few tables of 2/4 and 2/5 NL were usually available.
Table of rocks the first two times I played 1/2NL. Third time was the charm, weak players wanting to give me their money. Fixed Limit 2/4 and 3/6 is very beatable (and FUN!). Lots of younger players trying to grind out 1/2 NL, which can be a bore, play got better on Sat. night at about 3 a.m. when everyone was tired/drunk and sucking it up.
No messups, no complaints. Solid and enjoyable dealers. I liked how their nametags include where they are from. Some have crazy accents that I can't tell if they are real or fake, fun though.
20-30 minute waits for me. Not too bad.
Good seating system, but I get carded everywhere. Management went completely unnoticed, which meant they were doing their job.
$1/hr to MGM/Mirage card regardless of limits. Could be better... the dealer I had at 2/4 wasn't taking a rake so that is +ev :) No bad-beat or high-hand jackpots, I think the rake was 10% up to $4.
