This was my favorite room. From the time you sat down you could feel the "action" pulse through the room. That feeling didn't disappoint, nor did the profits. It was on the louder side of poker rooms, but never too loud you couldn't talk in a normal voice.
I sat at $2/$5 to start, but immediately moved to $1/$2. I only spotted 2 players who were to be avoided if possible. Others were there mainly for the drinks and the "excitement" of NL poker. It probably helped that a lot of people were in town for the fight happening the next night. ABC poker wins money in this room.
Friendly and talkative. One even recognized my windbreaker logo for a casino from home (Argosy Casino, Lawrenceburg, IN). My only experience with the Genesis Bravo system of tableside swipe in/out. Worked flawlessly. I was the only player who didn't have a card!
Quick and friendly. I ordered a reuben from the deli and it came hot and delicious in less than 5 minutes. The only gripe I have is none of the massage girls came to our table. I was really looking to get a table-side massage.
Seats were always opening up on games, and new games forming. They were always calling names for open seats. I waited 10 minutes to get on a table (new game). They opened every table with a chip runner already waiting to sell chips. They even made announcements in the casino for open seats for the various games in the poker room. Gotta love that!
Dunno because I didn't ask. Probably could have gotten my sandwich comped, but I was winning a bunch so I didn't mind paying for it.
