Poker room is the perfect combination of walled off private and right in the middle of the action, next to sports book and a "hip" bar Centrifuge. Newer room, lots of action, always lots of players. Full of big TV screens.
A mixed bag. Mainly tourists from what I could tell -- some pretty good, some calling stations, some playing drunk and agressive. Played three or four different sessions and walked away a winner every time.
No dealer mistakes, generally personable and patient with novice players that you'd expect in 4/8, especially with 1/2 kill pots. The woman next to me was obviously getting advice from her friend next to her and vice-versa and the dealer warned them but didn't really stop them.
I don't drink alcohol when playing. When I asked for bottled water they had it on their trays which was nice. I didn't pay too much attention but didn't hear anyone complaining about service here.
Answered lots of questions very politely for this Vegas poker room novice. Electronic board makes it easy to see the list and pager system means you can room around the casino while waiting. On two occassions pit boss handled problematic players (drunk, repeatedly communicating not in English) very well for the benefit of others at the table.
I didn't see any jackpots posted. Their Players Club system is losely tied into the main casino system which was frustrating. I could use the regular card in the poker room, but at the main Players Club desk they couldn't tell me if I had any comps or qualified for a room rate discount; I needed to go back to the poker room for that. Otherwise I believe the comps are OK, but didn't check.
