The room was really about average. The bed was comfortable, but some people wouldn't like the pillows there. The bathroom was ok. There was no vent that could be turned on/off, so steam (and stink) take a little while to get rid of. The shower curtain blows gets sucked in to the shower while you're in there, and you can't keep it off of you. Very annoying, and kind of dirty feeling. Our TV was pretty standard, not plasma or LCD. The channel selection was pretty poor, but I didn't go to Vegas to watch TV!
I rated the competition easy, but I only played the Limit games there. 2/4, 3/6, and 4/8. The 2/4 and 3/6 was full of every type of player you can imagine, and they will chase anything to the river. However, if you play your big draws correctly, you should be able to come out ahead here.
The dealers were good. I put in a lot of hours here from Fri-Tues, and didn't see any mistakes. On the other hand, they were probably the least friendly dealers out of the 8 rooms I've played in. They weren't necessarily rude, but definitely had no interest in cracking a smile.
Drinks here took forever! Sometimes it seemed like 30 minutes, and that was middle of the day when the room wasn't packed or full. The drinks didn't taste very good here, and the beers weren't as cold as I would prefer. Not the place I would go if I was looking to drink.
I'll rate the management as a 4. I didn't have to deal with them much, but they seemed to do a good job of keeping an eye on the list and keeping the tables full.
I'll rate the comps average. I never swiped my card and never asked for anything. I'm used to playing for a few hours in Tunica and getting a buffet comp, but that's just now how things work in Vegas so I don't even fool with it.
