I liked MGM very much...

I can only give this good because of the frickin' racetracks. I didn't understand what all the fuss was about from prior posters but they were a pain to deal with becuase of the gap between the marble and the felt.

Other than that I liked the room. It had good spacing, lots of table, lots of flat panel tv's and there is easy access to food and bathrooms.

As for those that previously complained about the music from the bar next door, stop yourslves! The music was loud for 1-2 minutes every thirty minutes and then it was quiet again.

Overall very average. I played $1/$2NL, $4/$8 LHE and $3/$6 LHE and wasn't overly impressed with anyone. At the same time I didn't experience the drunkeness I have read about either. I was there on a Sunday - Tuesday so perhaps the partying was contained.

I won most of my money at the LHE and found that to be softer than the NLHE. The NLHE wasn't all that tough I just took two bad beats that kept me even over three sessions rather than ahead.

Some good and others not so good. I actually enjoyed playing with three dealers one morning at a $3/#6 game. They were lots of fun and horrible players.

No major errors or misdeals.

I drank beer only so I can't comment on mixed drinks although I was upset when two young guys from MN sat at my table and asked for shots and were refused until we threw a fit for them and then it was limited.

Service was very reasonable at all times of day or night.

I really thought they did a great job. I was saeted quickly and efficiently. My table changes were handled well and I found the floor personnel to be friendly and fun.

One one night at about 1:00 am we were evacuated from the poker end of the casino due to a bomb concern (suspicous package) and it was handled very well from the poker rooma and casino security.

My one beef is the ladies that work the front poker desk were generally a little prickly and lack the same enthusiam as the rest of the staff.

Tough for me to gauge. I did accrue $1 per hour but when I tried to get access to it through the players club I was told I needed to deal with the poker room itself unfortunately I was ready to checkout and it was too late to try to use.
