I love the setup of this room. Most of my play here was late night so there werent as many distractions as there probably could have been. But to sit there for a 8-10-14 hour marathon and not even notice the time is saying something for the room, management, dealers and play.
There are some pretty good players at the MGM but that is a good thing because I got more of a fair game at the 4-8 then what I saw at other places. It made the game run smoother. You can actually bluff and get away with it every once in a while at 4-8 here. Just don't make it a habit or you will get beat LOL.
These guys and gals were GREAT!!! Fast, funny, but not overboard. Devon is my HERO. He seemed to take over right after I had a bad stretch and he would sit down and the cards would start hitting again. He was funny and a breath of fresh air.
The waitresses were not bad at all to look at, and the service was good with the exception of a one hour stretch in the 7am hour, but nothing that couldnt be tolerated.
These guys know what they are doing, and are good at sitting people as quick as possible. I think my longest wait was about 15 minutes and that was when the room was full and they were running a tournament at the same time.
I guess $1 an hour is ok, dont know. Added the time to my players card but still haven't cashed it in. All I know is that I had a lot of fun playing at MGM and will go back year after year to do it again.
