Beautiful room, nice modern tables, automatic shufflers and quick seating. A good environment to play in.
At least at the low limits. Half the table barely understood the rules, the other half was drunk. Any decent player should be able to turn a profit under these conditions. Just be prepared to have people call you down with second and third pair. I saw hands showed down that I couldn't believe, including someone calling all the way including the river with K high. Also someone lost over $60 in one hand of 2/4 by continually reraising with the nut flush when an obvious full house was on the board.
Good dealers. Friendly and interactive. They were willing to help the less experienced and we all had a good time.
Quick service, full menu. I even had a sandwich brought to my table, no complaints at all. Not the most attractive staff, but if you are going to a poker room based on the attractiveness of the staff, I guess you should get your priorities in order.
Quick seating was a plus. A floor manager resolved a mucking dispute quickly and fairly to everyone.
$1 an hour...nothing special...
