A very nice room with plenty of space and the autoshuffler tables, comfortable chairs and a fun atmosphere. It was a little loud when the bar kicked in gear, but I liked it. Plenty of "scenery" on the rail.
There were some good players and some bad players. There were some BIG pots to be had if you could wait it out.
I won most sessions, but got hammered in a 1-2 NL when players either drew out on HUGE (>$1k) pots or I got KK VS AA. Some of these guys went all in with a pair of queens and when I get premium hand I find them with nuts and me with second best hand several times. Just poor read, bad luck or a fantastic scam!
There were some mistakes. They were mostly a friendly group.
Good service, very average looks. MGM could do better.
Always accomodating and they get you in the games quickly. Kept tables full. Nice people.
My only complaint was the comps explanantion was confusing. You have to have a voucher and go to restaraunt and only some accept it and...blah, blah, blah. They are scanning my MGM players card every time I sit, can't they just credit my meals on my room bill?? I played about 12 -16 hours a day, who has time to get vouchers?
