Unfortunately have to give it an overall 4 to the room. This is due to the widely reported "sound machine" (lounge), which is in close proximity to the room. About once an hour or so, they play this really loud dance music - then the sound level goes back to normal. Easily put up with.
The look, feel, and location of the room is way above average. I particularly liked seats 5, 6, and 7 of table 7. Lot's of eye candy to watch between shuffles.
Played 1/2 and 2/5 NL. Competition very similar as far as skill. Preferred the 2/5 as there was more opportunity to win huge pots. The 1/2 was like a home game - a lot of chasing. I felt that the players at the 1/2 were easy to read. The 2/5 had better quality players - and several local rocks. My favorite player may have been the guy who was literally downing/guzzling his drink while the waitress patiently waited to hand him his next one - while ordering another. Too bad he arrived in town as I was leaving. I'm sure he did some donating. Overall I felt the competition was average and highly recommend MGM over Venetian if you want to make "easier" money.
Some very good Dealers. Very patient, professional, approachable, and skilled. Kept the games running and maintained their cool during long periods of player contemplation. Very few female dealers for some reason. Best dealer (all around) in my opinion is "radio" Bobby. You will know him by his voice.
WOW - yes they are attractive. Yes they are professional and FAST. I drink water and coffee and was never thirsty.
BIG shout out for my girl Chase. Give this girl a raise. Sexy, cute, great body, excellent conversation and over-the-top friendly. Best of all she doesn't mind big guys in Harley shirts flirting with her. Chase, if you read this -send me a message through here! I owe you a story.
Among the best! Friendly and a minimal amount of BS (rules). VERY well run room. Staff is happy and that is a reflection of the management.
Rake is fairly low, and comps are average for Vegas rooms.
