Atmosphere couldn't be beat..If you're under 30 lookin' for a good time and don't really care about playing cards. Played on a friday night. Everything was top rate as far as the equipment goes. The tables, chairs, seating system, etc. The height difference between the felt and the 'granite' racetrack is a little disconcerting when a card lays over the edge but I couldn't see what anyone else had when it happened to them.
It was friday night, a couple pros in the room(Moneymaker and Gordon), a bunch of poker writers, and whole lot of drunken idiots who had money to lose. Played for 6 hours and quadrupled up pretty easily. Everyone was more concerned about who was there or who wasn't there and if they looked ok.
They all seemed to do a good job, kept the game going as best they could with all the hobnobbing going on. Not real friendly though, except with the locals.
Girls were ok to look at if that matters. Must get payed for their looks and not their speed though. Girlfriend playing on the other side of the room said it was great on her side.
For the amount of people there and all the nonpoker activity, these guys kept the tables full and the lists short. Was pretty amazed at the job they did. Not the friendliest group of people, but performed great. Someone requested a 10/10 table and they got it together and filled like that.
No jackpots. For people with players cards though, they ran it through right at the table. Never inquired about what they got.
