The MGM has lots of room around its tables. Its not a packed in sweatshop like many of the places I have been. Nothing is worse than having to sidestep around people just to walk over and give your wife a couple of notes. The tables and chairs were also in perfect shape and the room was very refreshing.
Every table had a couple of grinders and the rest knew what they were doing. I made money every hour I played, with one exception where my AAJJ was slapped in the face by a boat. The guy had played so poorly before that I "knew" he did not have me beat.
Dealers were consistent, which is a pet-peave of mine. I hate it when a dealer refuses a raise because you did not vocalize it, but then the replacement is OK with it. Pick one or the other and make it a house rule. Every dealer made me verbalize my raises which is fine with me. Please check your bait and poles at the door.
Free is free. I switched to screwdrivers late in the evening. They tasted a bit strange. May have been a powdered orange drink or something, but, honestly, I was a little too "painless" to really tell. I think all the casinos have gone to this for their freebies.
Very professional. I am in IT consulting and they dress better than my bosses bosses boss. Must suck in that desert weather.
Im putting this at average for several reasons. 1. Im tall and athletic. People tend to be more friendly with me because of that. 2. Im in sales, i know how to use honey to catch flies. 3. No one else got anything while I was there other than a pack of smokes.
