Beautiful poker room. Sleek. Modern. Spacious. Great condition. It just felt a little too modern and sterile.
The poker room feels like an extension of Studio 54 and the MGM's west wing. It was comfortable, but not particularly relaxing.
The 2-4 was a joke, day or night. 5-10 players to a flop was routine. The 3-6 was a little better, though still somewhat loose with a lot of chasing. The 4-8 was a relatively tough game, with more solid players. 3-6 and 4-8 each had at least a couple of solid locals at all times.
Great dealers. Generally friendly and chatty. I only saw 1 mistake in many sessions. The Dealer failed to call the winning hand, and was very quickly corrected by a player.
Speed was spotty. They screwed up one of my orders. Limited variety/choices on liquor.
Great management. The wait list system is terrific.
$1/hour in (lousy) MGM food. No jackpots.
