The room was hip, comfortable, and friendly. Lodged between the centrifuge bar and the sports book, there was always plenty of action and spectators regularly crammed the rail. There is a definite buzz about the room.
There is a good mix of players so it really depends what you are up against. Most know what they are doing, but there are definately calling stations looking to get lucky. I got killed on a couple of hands where anyone decent got out of my way bu the turn, but the dogs got bailed out on river. Nothing more frustrating than making all the right plays and still having a bad night.
Many of the dealers are fresh from dealer school and it shows. There were several missed calls and mistakes, especially on split pots.
Service was slow, but then again, the place was packed.
The list was well organized, but I got diffent answers to my questions depending on who I spoke with and none appeared to have any personality.
No jackpots or other promos are offered. While I was there, their comp system was down, so they couldn't do any swipes and apparently didnt have the desire or ability to do anything manually. At the end of my play -- I was told to come back later when the system was up and I would be credited. Of course, they didnt give me anything in writing and I had less than full confidence that they would have any recollection of who played or for how long.
