The MGM card room doesn't seem to age. The chairs are comfortable. The felt is in great condition. It gets a little cold however. There is really good music playing. At one late night/early morning session there was an hour of classic rock playing. It may take a few minutes to adjust to the marble that runs around the outside of the table. Chips are kept there and cards are a few inches forward on the felt. MGM also has massage therapists that massage at the table for $2 per minute.
I've played numerous sessions of 1-2 here and am never disappointed by the competition. You can find soft games there in the early afternoon and very loose soft games in the evenings. You will usually find a couple solid players per tables but they are easy to spot and easy to avoid.
Every dealer I have seen has been very competent and many of them have very friendly and funny personalities. In 40+ hours there I have only ever seen a floor supervisor called once and that dispute was solved in less than a minute.
Most of the waitresses were quite fast. All of them were friendly. Drink quality is very good.
The management are very friendly. Very talkative if you engage them. And they ran the room very well.
No jackpots.
