The look and feel of this room (to me) is outstanding. Sure, the room gets loud for a few times each hour when the bar next door plays loud music, however the rest of the time it is perfectly normal. I especially like sitting at the tables near the rail looking toward the lion habitat. For a nice break, take a walk into the Rainforest Cafe (near the Stage Deli) - the salt water aquariums in there are excellent.
If you grind it out you will make money (1/2 NL). Play premium hands correctly and you will not be disapointed in your win rate. The 2/5 NL game is pretty tough. Bring your A game for the 2/5.
Dealers here are true pro's. Radio Bobby, Mr. Fox, Amanda, numerous others - all personable, friendly, and competent. I was glad to see a Dealer Phil standing in as a shift manager one night. Promoting from within is just good business.
For the most part service was excellent. When the regular grave shift had her day off, service dropped off noticeably. There are some beautiful ladies serving drinks during the day/night!
This crew is superb. I think graveyard shift manager Gary is one of the best I've ever seen. Over several trips to the room spanning a few years I've noticed that he ALWAYS treats his customers and staff with respect and dignity. Player list was run smooth throughout my six day visit.
Relatively small rake ($4 max) on the 1/2 game. Comps are a buck per hour I believe. I have built up enough for a dinner at Craftsteak (next visit).
