This had that new-room look and feel. Screens were easy to read, tables had nice feel, this was a great room to play in. Plus, a table near the rail lets you people watch when not in a hand.
A solid mix of good players and calling stations. Most of the time you needed a hand to win, but I did take down one pot with a pair of twos when everyone continually checked. Every pot seemed to have three or four players in after the flop and at least two all the way to the end.
Professional, didn't make mistakes except for one mis-deal, friendly, but not too talkative. Let players dictate pace of game and nature of table.
Waitresses were easy on the eyes and friendly. Especially loved one with British accent (curly blonde hair), didn't get her name. Service was good, drinks came within a couple of minutes.
Someone was at the podium to greet me, led me to my seat. Chip runner was there right away to get my chips. Professionalism at its best.
I didn't take advantage of the $1/hour comp, but that seems to be the extent of the comps.
