This poker room is at the top of my list for certain resons yes I know it is not the bellagio or the wynn but the beauty of the mgm is the players and staff.. you won't find some rich guy putting you all in just because he is willing to lose 500 bucks and not care. You will find great players that you can tell that they are locals and for some reason the tourist that stop by to play are serious poker players. The staff there are recpectfull and as well as the players. There is something about the atmosphere about that room that really is special.Everything fell in place the chips, felt, and marble around the exterior of the felt. The way they call out the next player is great... The dealer at every table has a button that they push that designates the floor personal to seat the player right away and notifies them to what table they must go and seat number... plus they have plasma screens for you to see when your up next...
The players where very experienced and rercpectfull. They really brought out the poker in me. For example if your a pretty tight player and not a big bluffer then just the way the game progresed you will play hands that you would not normally play and play it like a pro... You don't care at that moment to lose some money because you care about making the right play to see if your opponenet really had the nuts and when you make that huge raise and he mucks on the river it's the best feeling then you know what poker feels like...
The dealers there are very chatty and involved in game as if they where playing. The dealers their seemed very happy to be there and had no attitude to any one. They new what they were doing.
The waitesses were nice and very percise with your drinks and they do not serve you cheap stuff... The rounds that they were making was about every 10 minutes you had a new drink in your hand...
Hey every time I go managment looks the same way. They don't look lost like other floor personal and it is organized well. They split the room up in two rooms and keep no limit games and high roller in one room and all other small cash games on the other side. Really if you enter any game you feel like a high roller...
They have a comp card they give out great stuff but even then they usually give out stuff that they are endorced by like mikes hard lemonade and all have to do to get that is be in the poker room
