The best thing about this room is there is plenty of space. You don't have to worry about bumping into a guy at the table next to you. One bad thing, it is a VERY long walk from Valet parking. One REALLY bad thing is they play this obnoxious deafening loud music every half hour.
I had read that the competition at the MGM was soft. This was not my experience in the $2-5 nl game. I played about 4 hours, Players were very agressive. I played for about 30 min at a $1-2 table while I was waiting for the $2-5 table. The competition there seemed a little bit softer.

Cocktails came around in a timely manner.
They were very helpful in getting me to a table and chips. I hate the $200 max buy in in the $1-2 game. The $500 max buy in is a little more tolerable but why not go to no cap like the other big rooms?
Each table has a card reader that tells the dealer your name and how long you have been playing there. I didn't ask how much they comp.
