The look at the MGM poker room isnt scary at all for the 1st timer to Vegas.As a matter of fact it was very welcoming site.I couldnt wait to get a seat.
I played 1 2 no limit holdem and i can tell you that all the stories you have been reading about the fish and poeple there just dieing to give you there money is NO joke.very easy game to beat.If you can play a tight game,just sit and wait for a hand.When you get it, play it strong you will get payed off.
Most of the dealers at the MGM were very nice and gave you as much time as you needed to make a decision.Chad to me was the most polite and even had a sense of humor.The lady dealers were very nice also
I didnt think I was getting drinks fast enough. I even had to wait like 25 mins.once to get one.Time was my only complant
Very polite and excellent help in finding a table for you.Very well run poker room.Absolutly no complants about mangement.Mark there is 1 funny guy.
The comps there are a joke if you ask me because i felt like i spent most of my time in the poker room and when you play tournies and sit and gos you dont get that counted as time spent there.its a dollar an hour so not to good.
