Checked the place out for the first time and was quite impressed. Facility is very nice with great amenities, comparable to a casino poker room, if not better. Professional dealers and the management is exceptional with their hospitality. Security guard on duty and wanding entrants for metal detection creates a safer environment.
Are the games good? Absolutely. Plenty of action when I was there. Feels like their 1/3 NLH $500 cap game often plays higher, more like 2/5, as the stacks end up getting deeper throughout the night. Very player-friendly when it comes to straddles, bomb pots, running it twice, etc.
The half-hourly time charge, especially when the games are dealt & played pretty fast overall, makes it *considerably* cheaper than the prohibitive rake structure across the river at Caesar's.
Between the food with the kitchen opening up soon, the shorter drive from my house, and action games that seem to be run very well, I'm looking forward to making this my regular spot to play.
