The room was in good condition, small but nice.
There were alot of locals, many of them rocks.
Bad is a complement compared to the ignorance that I experienced here and is the reason I will never play at the Palms Casino again. This was my first time playing at Palms just to see what it was like. I was sitting in the 5 seat directly in front of the dealer. Now the dealer told me to guard my hand which is something I sometimes do, I especially do it in the 1 or 10 seat. So I get my hand, Ad and Kc, there was a raise before me so I just call. Flop comes up Ah Kh As, I have a full house, I take my hand off my cards for just a second to gain composure and to take a look at my competition, while I did this I did not realize that the dealer swiped my hand. So when I looked back to place my bet my cards were gone. The dealer said I should have guarded my hand. This is totally inexcusable and ignorant of the dealer. Either the dealer was on a power trip or trying to prove a point, regardless it is inexcusable. Anyway I will never play at the Palms again and encourage everyone who reads this not to play there as well. I could see if I was in the 1 or 10 seat, mistakes like that can happen, but I was right in front of the dealer and she saw me put my money in the pot. Plus another thing I noticed was the people that I was up against in that hand new the dealer and carried on a conversation before that infamous hand was dealt.
I came around but not frequent enough for me to notice them.
They were accomadating, but did nothing to help the previous situation.
I believe its 1.00 an hour, plus they have a bad beat jack-pot, plus some other bonuses for certain card hands.
