Originally from the Bay Area where they have quality card rooms with quality customer service and amenities. I say that to say I've been playing cash games for over 10 years in multiple states. I don't mind the Rake since almost every state besides Texas has a rake so that's not the issue. The issue I had was collusion over a small $600 dollar pot, the dealer kills my hand before I can then over my cards. When the floor checks the camera they pay me back but short me over $150 since I would have chopped the pot. I'm also shorted the initial all in which would have been $300, about $200 which was my buyin.
Once you discovered the dealer made a mistake why wouldn't you just chop the pot?? Makes no sense. This happened back in January and I haven't been back since. Leaving this review months later because it will go down in history as the worst decision making I've ever saw and this guy was one of the owners. Hire proper floor and dealer who don't make mistakes on pots and people would actually like to come here.
The players on the other hand give some of the best action in Houston so I'm upset that I ban myself from this location but it had to be done.
Even the staff that was working there since I moved here back in 2021 STOPPED working there because of the new management. Probably nice guys but need to hire help that can properly run their location.
