Per usual, Shuffle 214 goes out of their way to prove how bush league they are. They pretend to be giving away a tournament seat via random drawing and then they expect you not to notice that they have deducted the cost of that seat from the prize pool. I played a $125 mega satellite tourney with 25 players. $100 from each entry was supposed to go to the prize pool. For every 5 players, one $500 tournament entry was to be awarded. Instead, when I busted 5th, I got $400 cash NOT the $500 tournament entry I should have gotten. Nowhere in any of their tournament materials was this thievery explained or promoted. As far as I am concerned, they straight up stole $100 from me. The chickensh***ery of this place never ceases to amaze. Why would I ir anybody else ever agree to subsidize somebody else's buy in?

Str8Raiser,
We're sorry that you're upset about the way we've structured the Early Bird Freeroll promo, but we don't feel like we've baited or switched anything. Every player signed up before the start of the tournament has the same chance to win the seat (so it's fair to everyone), and we give back the entry fee too.
Smaller rooms have a hard time getting tournaments to make. The early bird promo encourages early participation. On a side note, if we don't cover a guarantee, we pay the early bird portion too. Example: 47 entries on Monday Night for a 10k Guarantee - we made sure there was 10k in the prize pool Monday.
Because this was a satelitte, we get why you're upset though. If you'll come back in this weekend, ask for Ross, Steve or Oggie. Show us your phone (and this review), bring the $400 and we'll get you into the 100k. Thanks for playing sir.
