I arrived late morning to play cash games. While waiting for a seat I overheard the meeting the floor (older woman with short curly hair, not sure of her name) was having with the dealers that were just coming on duty (they were talking in the back near the check in desks). She proceeded to talk to them about how they need to sit there and deal as fast as possible to maximize hands players receive and not waste time interacting with the players because "that is not what they are here for". As a player I definitely want as many hands as possible, but I also enjoy interacting with dealers who are pleasant as it makes the game more enjoyable. That said the dealers themselves were top-notch, but I just feel bad for them that they have to work for a boss like that.
The room itself is pretty worn, but the competition is fairly easy to beat. Full of reg calling stations, so if you wait to make a hand you can make a lot of $.
